Feeding The Homeless Today For Easter!
~~~
This is actually the first time we (meaning my family, the three of us) have ever volunteered. We thought this would be a wonderful way to teach our daughter compassion and love towards others, especially those less fortunate. What better day to do this, for Easter. Sure, today isn't Easter but close enough. Hopefully we can fills lots of tummies too. I can't wait to see what my daughter learns from this, as well as myself.
Tomorrow we will spend Easter having our traditional breakfast out. Spend some family time together and maybe go see a movie.
What will you be doing this Easter? Do you have any traditions?
~~~
Now head on over to Cate's and see what others are doing!

I think you may have started a new Easter tradition for your family. What a wonderful thing to do.
Enjoy your day, I'm sure it will be very rewarding.
Happy SWS and Easter
What a great Easter tradition! We're celebrating with lots of talking about Christ and his death and resurrection. Plus the necessary barbecue chicken, of course. : ) Have a happy Easter!
My six words for you: You've opened your hearts to others.
My Six Words
Shadowy Toilet!
That's wonderful. When I was really young we used to go down to Seattle on Sunday afternoons and feed the homeless in the parks. It's been forever since I've done anything like that and I think that I need to do it again to remind myself of how lucky we really are. We don't have any concrete plans for Easter yet. Probably just dinner with the inlaws. Have a great day and Easter!
