Trying To Find A Campground Today

As always, we have decided to wait until the last minute to get 4th of July plans going. Which means, we are scrambling to find a campground to pitch a tent at. Fortunately, here in California, there is an abundance of places to choose from. Unfortunately, there are a gazillion people in this state that have the same idea as us. They just plan in advance. Duh! We're such "spur of the moment" people that it doesn't always help out. Especially in situations as these.

You're on the wrong coast. I live in Vermont. The whole state's a campsite. But please, don't construe this as an invitation. We're full up. Really.

Good luck with that, on and around the 4th...and especially for anyone in Mn...who wanted to go to a State Park...it isn't going to happen..sadly.
Last minute adds to the adventure. I love camping and we don't do it nearly enough any more.
