Six Word Saturday!

Tax Season Has Arrived.....Working More.

{A little tax humor for ya. Actually it's not funny cause it's true.....rawr!}Taxes Pictures, Images and Photos

I work at a CPA firm so naturally, this time of year is busy for me. There are other months that are busy too for fiscal year clients, but this time is for the bulk of our clients. With my normal 3 day work schedule, it will soon become 4 days and when April comes, it will be a full 5 day work week. Honestly though, since I've been working part time for the past 8 years (since my daughter was born), I have really gotten spoiled with this part time stuff. I really loathe working extra days. But then again, I try and look at it in a positive way.....I have a job!!! Oh yeah, and my paycheck is MUCH bigger!! No arguments there.

Okay, now head on over to Cate's and see what others are saying.

I like the cartoon. Well, I mean, I don't LIKE it but I GET it! ;)

I hear you about the work. I had so much time off over the holidays that I was really loathe to return to the first full time week. Ugh. But once I'm doing it, it's never as bad as thinking about doing it. Hope the same is true for you.

From a former Senior Financial Analyst and Accountant, my heart goes out to you. Just now, titrating the number of days I work.

Currently a Price Accuracy Team Member working retail, so the major rush is coming to a close, the slump time is arriving which allows us to tackle all the small, but important, details that were placed on the back burner.

Taxes were never my strong suit. All the best on the home front and in the work world!

It's good that there is a balance between more hours (bad) and more money (good). Just think how much more you will appreciate your free time after April 15!
