Going To Gold Camp This Week!
Through my daughter's school, the 4th graders get to go on a two night trip out in the gold country to learn about the California Gold Rush. They learn how to pan for gold and do other things the men used to do in those days. I, being her mom, just couldn't let her go unless I chaperoned. We leave this week and then when we get back, we're hoping in the car with our friend and her family to head down south....to Disneyland! What an exciting week it's gonna be!

Dinner And Movie With The Girls!

Tonight I'm getting together with my girls for dinner and a movie! One of our friends moved about 30-40 minutes away so getting together as often as we used to just doesn't happen like it once did. So, now we have to make plans in the evening to get together. What better way too?! Can't wait!

What a great Saturday in your world! While on the east coast, there are some gold spots here and while working through the Prairie Primer with the oldest children, we've learned so much about gold country. It's fascinating!
