{Even though this picture depicts a sore lower back, mine's the shoulder blades}
Every now and then I will sleep wrong which then leaves my back all in a funk.
Well, today is that day!
Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts. These are the stories of my life!
This month has been quite difficult for me around here. Not constant, just off and on but I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.....again!
Why?
Because I prayed. I prayed HARD! I do believe God heard my cries!
Literally.
Ya know, yesterday while listening to my favorite radio station, KLOVE, they were talking about how there really are no "newer" songs for Thansgiving. They mentioned that if any Christian artist could come up with a song just for Thansgiving, it would be Matthew West. So, they asked us, the listeners, to come up with things that are a must in a Thanksgiving song.
What would you say?
First thing that came to mind, for me, especially since God heard my prayers, would have to be.....the abundance of blessings!
What are YOU thankful for this Thansgiving season?
Perhaps alot of this
or even some screams of outrage,
but honestly, I feel I have to say it.
In fact, I've been putting it off for quite some time now because I knew just what kind of response I would get.
That's okay.
I've gotten over that part.
So, now I'm ready to be honest with you all.
Bare with me.
In fact,
Brace yourself, dear friends.....
You know those boots called UGGS?
I know why they called them that.
Because they're UGG-LY!!!!
to TruTV's to
However, in this house, no matter what, we have a nightly routine. That is, Monday's thru Friday's.We can NOT miss an episode of TMZ.
We love TMZ! It's so funny!
Especially when they mimic Justin Bieber's voice!! LOL!!!
We even DVR it so that we are guaranteed to watch it each night while we lay in bed. It's usually the last thing we watch right before we go to bed for the evening.
One of these days on our many trips to LA, we're gonna take the TMZ tour and get us our free TMZ t-shirt just so I can blog about it.
Just you wait!
The last couple years I've made it too and it was fun! However, last year I learned a valuable lesson....never use frozen pie crust. The first year I rolled my own dough out and it came out perfect. Last year it was still yummy, just more runny.
This year I plan on making my dutch apple pie as usually cause my family loves it but I also wanted to do something fun. Something fun for both my daughter and I do together.
Popcorn Balls!!
We can dye them for Christmas colors or add some M&M's to add some festiveness to it.
Then last night my husband requested something.
Cake Pops!
I was actually surprised by his request too.
We can get all sorts of creative with these. Like some pink ones dipped with peppermint candy.
Or maybe something super cute and fun like Rudolph ones!
So adorable!
We just may have a new holiday tradition in our family!
What kind of holiday traditions do you have?
First thing that comes to my mind was,
"I have to Facebook this!!"
So I grabbed my phone, not caring that the store worker was right down the aisle.
Just as I'm holding my phone to take a picture, the lady looks at me, probably wondering what the heck am I doing taking a picture of a cart full of wine.
I quickly reassure her I'm not a weirdo by informing her what the ad says in the front of the cart and how coincidental it is that wine would be in that particular cart.
She laughed and said,
"Oh how funny! I didn't even notice that. Of all the carts, it would have to be this one they put wine in it!"
Coincidence??
