Tuesday was the first day of school. Yep!
As much as I would love to have my daughter home with me until Sept. on Summer vaca, it is also nice to have that time split among other months so that when we want to go on a mini-vacation, the price is cheaper and the crowds are less :o)
Makes for a happy mommy and daddy!!
My daughter has quite a funky, sporty, yet girlie style. Complete opposite from her mom ;o)
I love that she loves fashion and expresses herself this way!
In fact, she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.
What do I tell her?
You can be absolutely anything you want to be!
I can't wait to see {actually, yes I can wait. Let's not rush things here!!} her blossom and become all that she ever hoped to be!
She's got that look of "Hurry up mom, take the picture already. Sheesh!"
Onto a new year and new adventures!

I swear she gets even prettier with every picture I see of her. She is definitely stylin' on her first day of school So darn CUTE!!

It is *109 here today, so I can't even imagine anything but shorts and a tee shirt. LOL
Yeah, she looks like she's ready to chase you outta there lol. What a lovely young lady she's becoming! I feel like I've watched her grow up these past three years. :-)
