It's officially October.
31 more days left.
You know what that means?
Time for the ghost and gobblins.
Time for scary coffins and eerie sounds.
Time for pumpkins and scarecrows
And time for our annual haunted house!
That's right! This time each year we turn our lovely two car garage into a horror of frights and sounds. From chainsaws and brains and scary dead guys!
It takes us at least two weeks to transform it. It's hard work but so worth it. Each year we have more and more people coming. In fact, last year someone drove over to see it cause they heard about it but they were too late that we told them "come back next year!" That's right folks, here it is "next year" and I'm seriously dreading it. Although I am anticipating all the people coming. Hearing the oh so sweet sounds of screams, running and laughter from fright! Then the kids saying "I want to go back in!"
Yes, Halloween is almost here!!
What do you do for Halloween? Do you even celebrate it?

Well...last year I took my boys to my friend's hTHey also had a haunted house. I took the kids to a few houses to trick or treat. We all had a lot of fun! Don't know what we will be doing this year....I think we will be going trick or treating with the new family across the street. Thanks for asking!!
i like costume parties...but, our friends don't. jake loves haunted houses...but, i'm a big, big chicken. the kids love it...and we all like the candy!!
maybe if i built my own haunted house...i wouldn't be scared anymore!!
i do love the season, though! will you post pics of it?
I stay home and pass out candy, and my husband takes the kids out.
