My Christmas Tree!
We used to buy fresh Christmas trees but because I'm horrible at watering the things, we quit buying real and went with the fake. I think it's a lot cleaning however and I don't have to worry about the tree getting so dry that it catches on fire. Fire scares me! I do however, miss the smell of the real trees. This year we put up the fake one again but we have decided to plan a trip up to Placerville so that we can cut a 4' one down for our family room just so that we can still enjoy the smell. It's planned. Doesn't mean it will still happen though. So until then....we have the fake one still here to enjoy. I'll just have to light some pine smelling candles. :o)
What decorations do you enjoy during the holiday season? Link up:

So, I have a confession to make. I have NEVER had a real tree. Ever. My husband had them growing up and says the smell of them IS the holidays to him, but it just seems like too much work for me ;) and I like to have Christmas for 2 months, from Nov. 1-New Years Day. He says that wouldn't work out well with a real tree...maybe next year...
All that to say...enjoy having a fake tree..much less work once it is up!
