Seeing Eclipse With The Girls Today!
Okay, don't hate me for what I'm about to say but......
Even though I have seen the first two and I'm about to see this one, I just really don't understand the hype about this movie series. The only reason I'm even seeing this movie and saw the others is for my friends. To have some "girl" time with them. All my friends have read the books, seen the movies, have mad passionate lust for Jacob but yeeeeah......don't get it!
It will be fun though, seeing my friends whom I never get to see but once or twice a year. Yeah, I know! See why I go see the movies now??!!!
Oh, and if you are wondering what team I'm on, I'm Team Jacob also. I'm really not into the "dead" look. ;o)

Hehe, your post made me smile. I read the books and Loved them. The movies however, they leave SO much to be desired. They had so much potential to make them great and failed MISERABLY. I loved Edward in the books, can barely stand him in the movies. I could barely stand Jacob in the books and love him in the movies. (Maybe the movie people are Team Jacob?)

I totally get what you're saying - I think the casting for "Bella" at least was poorly done. The girl can't act to save her life, and can barely string a coherent sentence together during an interview. Pathetic. The books were ok, but clearly written for young girls. Can't figure out why so many adult women are ga-ga over it. Eeeesh.
Still, girl time is fabulous! I hope you have a wonderful time with your pals!!

Shhhh! Don't tell anyone, but I so agree with you on the movie. Does that mean we're both totally "uncool"???? LOL Still, like you I would go to hang with my GF's. You'll have a great time and at least be "in the know" about the movie, even if you're not "in love" with the movie.
I don't get the hype either - I haven't read the books though. I did see the first to movies and will probably watch the latest one on pay per view. Hope you had a great time with the girls!
