Can't take THAT to school

Today while my daughter was doing her homework, she was working on her spelling words. She has a list of different things she can choose from for her assignment from drawing a picture and putting the words around the object to writing the words three times each.

As she was finishing up her assignment, she tells me

"Mommy, I'm all done."

So I glance to approve. It was then, that I stopped in my tracks and started laughing as I exclaimed

"Oh, no, no, no baby! You can't take that to school. You have to draw something else"

as I continued to laugh.

As you can see, she tried to draw a "leaf", hence the word Hempz, although it is missing two extra pieces to it.

Um...and before you think I do this sort of thing here at my house...there is a good reason for this. First of all, I have never in my life smoked the stuff. I was however, raised around it but I was always the one reprimanding everyone who was doing it.

This is what my daughter had sitting in front of her at the table while she was doing her homework. I guess when she decided to draw something, the creative juices weren't really flowing at the time.
